  1. Do you have a Starbucks Card?

No, at the moment we do not offer the Starbucks Card.

  1. Can I use my Starbucks Card issued in other countries at any Starbucks Laos stores?

No, the Starbucks Card issued in other countries cannot be used in any Starbucks Laos stores.

Section 2: Questions About Starbucks® Rewards Program

  1. How do I join Starbucks® Rewards Program?

You can enroll in Starbucks® Rewards Program and begin accumulating Stars by visiting rewards.starbucks.la and following prompts to create a Starbucks® Rewards account, which comes with the QR code.

  1. How many Starbucks® Rewards accounts can I have at any time?

You can have only one (1) Starbucks® Rewards account. If you have more than one (1) Starbucks® Rewards account, Starbucks may determine in its sole discretion that you have violated these Terms of Use. In the event that your participation in the Starbucks® Rewards Program is terminated, then all accumulated Stars in your account are void.

  1. How does the Starbucks® Rewards Program work?

Any transaction paid by any form of payment (cash, credit card, debit card, QR or digital wallet) can earn Stars which shall be added into your Starbucks® Rewards account.

The benefits that are available to you through Starbucks® Rewards Program are based on the number of “Stars” that you earn. You can earn Stars by making purchases at any participating Starbucks stores in Laos and presenting your Starbucks® Rewards Member QR code to barista upon payment.

You will earn Stars based on the value of your purchase at the rate of one (1) Star for each LAK 12,000 (Twelve Thousand Laotian Kips) spent when you scan your member QR code in the Starbucks® Rewards’ member web portal. Stars are rounded down to the nearest whole number. For example, if you spend LAK 25,000, you will see two (2) Stars reflected in your account for that transaction.

As a Starbucks Rewards member, you may be eligible for the following benefits:

  • 50% off on the first purchase within thirty (30) days after registration.
  • 25% discount on the total bill for the second order within thirty (30) days after registration.
  • Birthday cake from Starbucks on your birth month when you purchase any beverages.
  • Multiple-tier rewards:
  • 50 Stars for Free Upsize on beverages
  • 100 Stars for one (1) Free Grande Size Drink
  • 150 Stars for LAK 150,000 discount on retails products (i.e., whole bean, merchandise and package food)
  1. What is a Star and how do I earn one?

You will earn Stars and receive in-store benefits simply by fully paying for a transaction with any form of payment and at any participating Starbucks stores in Laos and presenting your Starbucks® Rewards Member QR code to barista upon payment. You can track your Stars balance and available Rewards online by logging into your account at rewards.starbucks.la

No “Star” will be rewarded for any purchases with a registered Starbucks® Rewards Account in any Starbucks stores outside of Lao PDR.

  1. How are Stars earned?

One Star will be earned for every 12,000 LAK spent from your registered Starbucks® Rewards Account at participating Starbucks stores in Laos. Stars can only be earned through in-store purchases and do not include delivery.

  1. Do my Stars expire?

Yes, Stars accumulated in the Starbucks® Rewards Account are valid for twelve (12) months from the date they are earned. However, any unused Rewards will expire based on the expiry date stated on the reward voucher.

  1. How do I redeem the offers?

To redeem your reward, inform the barista at any participating Starbucks stores in Laos and present your Starbucks® Rewards Member QR code. You must fully pay for the transaction (except when redeeming free rewards). To earn or redeem rewards, you must present your Starbucks® Rewards Member QR code to barista at the time of payment.

Reminder: Different rewards have specific expiry dates. Redeemable Stars expire on your anniversary date, while other rewards expire based on the promotion’s conditions. You can track your rewards at rewards.starbucks.la. Please be sure to redeem your rewards before they expire.

  1. Is there a fee to join Starbucks® Rewards?

There is no membership fee associated with Starbucks® Rewards Program.

   9. Can I view my list of rewards?

You can view your list of rewards by logging into your account at rewards.starbucks.la

  1. What if my Star balance doesn’t look right? Who do I contact?

We strive to ensure your account accurately reflects your purchases. If the total number of Stars doesn’t appear to be correct, please contact our Customer Care Hotline: +856 20 5724 1552

Be sure to have your Starbucks® Rewards Member phone number available with you for verification purposes. Please note that the detailed allocation of Stars and transaction history are updated every 48 hours.

   11. Can I transfer a Starbucks® Rewards membership to someone else?
No, memberships are non-transferable and cannot be shared with family members, friends or others.

  1. Can I redeem my Stars for Rewards in other countries?

Your Stars can only be redeemed for reward at participating Starbucks stores in Laos.

  1. Can I get any drink and cake item I want when I redeem my Birthday reward? What’s included?

Present your registered Starbucks® Rewards Member QR code to redeem your free birthday reward at participating Starbucks® stores in Laos before the reward expires. The birthday reward is typically loaded on the first day of your birthday month and expires in 30 days. Your birthday reward includes (i) a slice of cake (any flavors, including the seasonal offers). However, you must purchase a Starbucks handcrafted beverage first upon redeeming your birthday reward.

  1. Can I redeem my free reward at any store?

Yes, you can redeem free rewards at any Starbucks® store in Laos.

  1. How soon will I be able to see the Stars I’ve earned after using my Starbucks® Rewards Account?

Stars earned from using your Starbucks® Rewards Account may take up to 24 hours to be reflected in your account.

  1. How does Starbucks manage personal information?

  1. Why are rewards and Stars in Laos different from other countries?

Stars and rewards from Starbucks® Rewards program vary by country. To participate in the Starbucks® Rewards program in Laos, visit www.starbucksrewards.la and follow the prompts to create a Starbucks® Rewards account.

  1. Is the Lao language available on Starbucks® Rewards’ member web portal?

No, currently only English is available on Starbucks® Rewards member web portal.

  1. What should I do if I forget my Starbucks® Rewards Account password?
